Visit one of Bhutan's most popular festivals

Taking pictures at a festival, Jambay Lhakang Drup
Highlights
Jambay Lhakang is a small monastery but one of the oldest in Bhutan, built in 659, the same year the stunning Kyichu Lhakang in Paro was built. The festival staged here is one of the most visited by tourists in Bhutan, the result of which is that the tourists outnumber the natives.  Although it is rather crowded, the setting against the backdrop of the wide Bumthang Valley and the high peaks far to the north nevertheless provides for a  fine even to witness.
