Throuhout the summer of 2010 Waspgo.co.uk will be destroying wasps nests throughout Manchester, Trafford , Lancashire and Cheshire for a fixed rate of only thirty-two pounds (44.50 for postcodes (CH, CW & L).
We operate 7 days per week including weekends and evenings and do not charge extra for evening and weekend jobs.
Wasps nests can usually be dealt with from the exterior of the premises by blowing a small amount of insecticide into the entrance using a special device.
It is vital to get a wasps’ nest dealt with before mid-september when the new queens which will build next season’s nests start to emerge. Once this happens just destoying the nest will not deal with these wasp queens as they are no longer going back to the nest. A single nest can produce around 2000 queens.
During the summer we give priority to wasp nest calls as we know that many people can have a severe reaction to wasps stings and it is important to deal with the nest as soon as it is discovered. We do our very best to provide a rapid same day service but this is clearly ruled by how much work we have on.
It is neither necessary nor desirable to remove the wasp nest itself as it can never be used again and, being constructed purely of paper will crumble away by itself.
