Following two options show itineraries combining Wangdi Tsechu, Thimphu Tsechu and Tamshing Phala festivals – note the dates of the festivals are subjuct to change!
Sample itineraries were worked out per clients request ariving via Bagdogra in India and entering Bhutan at Phuentsholing, and wishing to travel to Tibet after their tour of Bhutan.
Sep 14 fly to Bagdogra, meet & transfer to Darjeeling
Sep 15 sightseeing around Darjeeling
Sep 16 transfer Darjeeling to Phuentsholing, overnight
OPTION 1: WANGDI TSECHU & THIMPHU TSECHU
*This is a leisurely tour of western Bhutan, with the festivals in Wangdi and Thimphu. You’ll have opportunity to do various hikes and visit Gangtey / Phobjikha valley.

Sep 22/Sat WANGDI morning drive to THIMPHU, afternoon witness festival or free time
Sep 23/Sun THIMPHU (Thimphu festival), if interested you can go hiking to Tango monastery in the afternoon
Sep 24/Mon THIMPHU – a.m. drive to PARO, afternoon sightseeing
Sep 25/Tue PARO and excursion to Tiger’s Nest
Sep 26/Wed fly Paro to Kathmandu, pickup Chinese visa & tickets
